Nils Petter Molvær – top-notch contemporary jazz musician

A Jiří Kylián work without music is simply unimaginable. The Norwegian jazz trumpetist, Nils Petter Molvær, has been invited. A fabulous artist – and a wonderful person.

He will perform live during the two opening evenings at the National Theatre where he will accompany 50 dancers during the interludes between the film projections.

And outside, on the Václav Havel Square? Or during the two festive openings of the installation of sculptures? Yes, on those occasions as well – Nils Petter Molvær's masterful improvisation will entice the audience into the night and color the atmosphere with his sound enhancing the beauty of the sculptures by Jiří Kylián.
