Concept
A unique conceptual project arranged by Jiří Kylián showcased his films, choreography, spoken word and a new installation of sculptures.
Program and installation
The installation Moving Still was opened on June 26, 2024 on the Václav Havel Square in Prague. The opening was preceded by an exclusive program at the National Theatre curated by Jiří Kylián. The program at the National Theatre included Jiří Kylián’s films: Schwarzfahrer, Scalamare, Between Entrance and Exit and Car-men. Czech actor Jiří Lábus, the famous Norwegian jazz trumpetist and composer Nils Petter Molvær and more than 50 dancers guided the audience through the interludes. This unique evening at the National Theatre was followed by the opening of Kylián's installation Moving Still outside on the piazzetta live accompanied by Nils Petter Molvær.
The same program took place on June 27, 2024.
